Pezeshkian Calls on Universities to Help Tackle Problems
TEHRAN – President Masoud Pezeshkian described universities as one of the most important centers that can help resolve the country’s problems.
Pezeshkian made the comments in a meeting with the president and professors of Imam Hussein University here where he was briefed on the latest measures and achievements of various departments of the academic center.
The president invited academics at the Imam Hussein University to propose ideas for the development of the Makran coastal region in southeast Iran.
“I hope that with your valuable experiences, we can realize
 the lofty intentions of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in transforming the Islamic Republic of Iran into a leading and superior country in the region in the fields of economy, science, and technology,” Pezeshkian stated.
He also referred to cooperation between the government and universities to address issues in order to neutralize hostilities against Iran. 
“We are confident that with reliance on the enormous capacities available in the country and the interaction and cooperation between academic centers and the government, all the enemies’ plots to impose sanctions, sow discord, and demoralize our people will be thwarted.”
